Curb Appeal
First, look at the exterior of your house, also called your curb appeal. Inspect the outside of your house from a quick glance from the street. What do you notice first? What unique features seem hidden? Acknowledging this assists us in deciding what actions we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't at its best on the outside with touched up paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and elevate your house's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Does your home seem to say, "This is Your Next House" to a buyer? Walking-through your property with a buyer's eye, we'll recommend adjustments that build up sales appeal. We'll suggest that you take away pieces that give the impression of clutter. Counter tops should be cleared off. Arts and crafts, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator artwork should get stored away too. You need to remove the personal details from the home so buyers can see it as their new home.
We know instantly where a room's best features are and how to show them off. We'll note the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that could use shining, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively impact the sale.
We'll ensure your house has mass appeal and that it's welcoming, steering clear of "loud" or "too-bright" colors on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can think about borrowing furniture. The goal is for your house to look lived in as opposed to barren.

Setting the Stage We'll tell you when to host an Open House, because all of the changes come together to paint a picture of what buyers can envision after they choose to buy your house. Brightening up each room is of major importance, so we'll do things like part the curtains and change light bulbs where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests experience your home and make sure a pleasant fragrance circulates from every area. We'll add cozy-looking bedspreads, and place pillows on your couch and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your current house is their future home. |
